Fitness Connected

Health data that makes sense with the people around you.

Fitness Connected exists to make personal health data more understandable, more connected, and more meaningful in the context of the people around you.

We believe health and fitness data becomes more useful when you can understand it personally, share it intentionally, and experience it alongside the people who matter to you.

Three ways health becomes more useful

Understanding yourself, connecting intentionally with other people, and seeing progress together. Those ideas come to life throughout the You, People, and Groups sections of the app.

You

Understand yourself.

Personal health data should help you recognize patterns, progress, and what is changing over time.

  • Profile Trends and personal metrics
  • Your health history over time
  • Data Connections and account settings
  • Privacy preferences you can change anytime

People

Connect intentionally.

Health and fitness can be more meaningful when shared with people you know, without turning the experience into followers, feeds, or social performance.

  • Relationships you choose
  • Health visibility that grows only when both people connect and settings allow
  • Mutual Connections for shared health context
  • No follower counts or social feeds

Groups

See progress together.

Groups give people a shared view of activity and progress, rather than acting as chats or social-media communities.

  • Shared spaces for friends, families, teams, and accountability circles
  • Standings, averages, and Compare
  • How members are doing together

Control is part of every connection

Privacy, permissions, and sharing choices remain part of the experience across your health, connections, and groups.

You choose which health permissions Fitness Connected can use, who can see health data on your profile, and which people or groups you participate with. Mutual Connections visibility and group sharing follow those choices rather than overriding them.

Source health data remains in Apple Health or Health Connect. Fitness Connected reads supported data you allow. Deleting your Fitness Connected account removes or de-identifies Fitness Connected-stored data according to the Privacy Policy, and does not delete source data from those health platforms.

Your choices stay yours

Review permissions, profile visibility, connections, groups, and account deletion whenever your needs change.

What that looks like in the app

A closer look at capabilities across You, People, and Groups.

Daily Snapshot

Daily Snapshot shows your day across supported metrics, without digging through raw health-store screens.

Profile Trends

In the You section, Profile Trends help you notice patterns and progress over time for the metrics Fitness Connected supports.

Connections

The People section centers on connections you choose. Mutual Connections can make shared health visibility available when both people connect and your profile settings allow it.

Groups

Groups give friends, families, teams, and accountability circles a shared place for standings, averages, and how everyone is doing together.

Compare

Compare puts supported metrics side by side with someone you are mutually connected with, or against a group average, when your privacy choices allow.

Activities & Metrics

Supported activity and health metrics appear in daily views and longer-term trends. What you see depends on what your health platform provides.

Privacy & Data Connections

You choose health permissions, profile visibility, and who you connect with. Data Connections show how Apple Health or Health Connect relates to your account.
