Fitness Connected
How Fitness Connected works
Fitness Connected works with health data already collected through Apple Health and Health Connect. It does not replace those platforms, and it does not pair directly with watches.
From your devices to Fitness Connected
Step 1
Your device records activity
A wearable, phone sensors, or a fitness app records activity and health signals. Fitness Connected does not pair directly with watches.
Step 2
Your health platform brings it together
Compatible devices and apps write supported data into Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android.
Step 3
Fitness Connected organizes supported data
With your permission, Fitness Connected reads supported data from those platforms and organizes it into daily metrics and trends.
Step 4
You decide how it becomes connected
Supported data can appear in your own trends, with people you connect to, and within groups depending on the privacy and sharing choices you make.
You choose what Fitness Connected can read
What appears depends on what your device or app writes into Apple Health or Health Connect, and on the permissions you grant. Fitness Connected organizes supported data into daily metrics and trends. It does not promise instant synchronization.
Removing or deleting Fitness Connected does not delete source data from Apple Health or Health Connect.
